What the ₪99 buys

The Open Ledger IL Windows installer and the setup it runs in your own Cloudflare account.

A connection to the Israel Tax Authority through MTN's login broker, for one business. You do not need to register an ITA API app of your own.

The Ledger code stays free

The Ledger code is public under the Functional Source License, version 1.1 (FSL-1.1-ALv2). Any business can run it from source for its own books for free, with its own ITA API app. This licence does not change that.

What you pay for is the installer, the setup and the Tax Authority connection through MTN.

One install per key

One key is for one business. On its first install the key binds to your Cloudflare account and your business tax number.

Installing again on the same Cloudflare account, with the same tax number, is allowed. Use it to update or to repair an install.

A key bought for one tax number does not work for another.

Moving to a new account

To move the install to another Cloudflare account, reply to your licence email. MTN releases the key, and it binds to the new account on the next install.

Misuse

MTN can pause the Tax Authority connection of an install that misuses it, for example by sharing the key or by sending calls that are not the Ledger's own. The Ledger and your data stay in your account either way.

Sales to businesses, final sale

1. Sold to businesses only. The product serves a business's invoicing and bookkeeping, so the buyer buys as a business (עוסק) from a business. The buyer confirms this at checkout and gives a business tax number.
2. A copyable digital product, delivered at once. On payment the buyer receives a licence key and an installer file that can be copied. A downloaded file cannot be returned.
3. A one-time, completed transaction. This is a one-time licence purchase for a self-installed product, not a subscription. The transaction is complete when the key and the download link are delivered.

Therefore every sale is final and non-refundable. The purchase is governed by these terms, which the buyer accepts before payment.
